The Power of Personal Accountability

This one-day, highly interactive program challenges participants to rethink the way they respond to challenges, difficulties and problems, while helping them create greater Accountability and success in their lives.  Designed for employees at all levels, this program assists participants in applying the Personal Accountability Model to improve their effectiveness using innovative, fun and effective learning techniques.

Participants learn to quickly and easily recognize when they are acting accountably, and when they are not.  They will be introduced to strategies, skills and new ways of responding to situations that create greater accountability with customers, teammates and themselves.  This program is ideal for organizations interested in improving performance and communication between employees and team members.  Individual action plans are created to sustain results for long-term impact.

Program Length: One Day

Tools Gained During the Training Session:

  • Each participant practices and gains the following tools to support them in bringing accountability back to the workplace:
  • An assessment tool for targeting areas for improvement and tracking results over time.
  • A questioning strategy for coaching oneself and others in making changes for improvement.
  • In depth use of the Personal Accountability Model for assisting oneself and others.
  • A process for changing habits and beliefs to support personal transformation.
  • A tool for coaching others and assisting people through their "wall of fear" or resistance.
  • Methods for holding others accountable in a supportive manner.
  • An action planning system that includes "proactive recovery" to ensure success.
  • A process for acknowledging and recognizing success.

Materials Included

  • Participant Workbook to ensure successful completion of above outcomes; workbook will serve as an ongoing reference guide.
  • Personal Accountability Assessment to identify the strengths and areas of improvement related to personal accountability and effectiveness.
  • Action Planning Worksheet as a commitment from participants to apply accountability strategies and techniques.  This is to be used by managers following the session.
  • Personal Accountability Card to ensure that each person can have easy access to the Personal Accountability Model for self-coaching and for assisting others.
