Motivating Others for Improved PerformanceOne of the biggest challenges many managers face is knowing how to cultivate an engaged, highly motivated workforce. The key is for the manager to create an environment and culture that brings out the best in each individual. One management approach that worked excellently with one person may yield a different response from someone else. This program utilizes the DiSC® model for understanding behavioral styles to help participants understand their own leadership style, and identify methods for increasing productivity and satisfaction with each employee. Our on-line Motivating Others for Improved Performance program provides a blended learning process, which requires no travel and can be completed in condensed, spaced time frames. Blending live on-line instruction sessions with interactive self-paced review modules, this courseware combines maximum learning and instructional flexibility with minimum schedule impact. Program Length: This is an on-line instructor-led learning process, consisting of 2 on-line instructor-led sessions scheduled at least one month apart, and an on-line self-paced module. Major Topics:

Resources Provided : Each participant in this program receives an individualized Personal Profile Report. Motivating Others for Improved Performance Program Process: Each participant in this program receives an individualized Personal Profile Report. Session 1: Key Steps for Motivating and Managing Others Time: 90 Minute On-Line Instructor-Led Session This session addresses research that shows what employees really want from their manager, and describes each behavioral style. Then each participant is sent their Personal Profile Report and an instrument to identify the style of each employee. Session 2: Understanding Behavioral Styles for Managers Time: 60-90 Minute On-Line Self-Paced Course This highly interactive on-line self-paced course addresses how to recognize and adapt to the diverse behavioral styles of employees. Participants must conduct a simulated role-play. This course is to be completed before Session 3. Session 3: Motivating Others for Improved Performance Time: 90 Minute On-Line Instructor-Led Session This session addresses specific steps for working with each employee profiled in Session 1. A personal action plan is created to help each participant continue to apply behavioral style knowledge on the job. Session 4 and 5: Reinforcement Tips Newsletter These reinforcement tips newsletters will be sent out monthly after the session. They will have helpful articles and tips to encourage participants to recommit to their Action Plan. |
